Full review - Millionaire Casino (9.11)
While there are many aspects of Millionaire Casino to admire, there a few things that we weren't so crazy about.
The casino soundtrack that backs up its games lobby can get a little annoying after a while. Users who find the noise too much can mute the soundtrack through the Options menu.
That’s because Millionaire Casino’s action moves slower than a lot of other online gambling sites. The action has improved from the really slow response times from early, although users will still get a warning sign saying, “Connecting to server. Please be patient.” It’s possible that Millionaire Casino has one of the problems of success; it’s gaining so many users that its bandwidth (rate of data transfer) is being strained. On the one hand, that’s good news for the casino. On the other hand, it can be frustrating for players. In many cases users must first highlight an action with one click, and then activate it with a second click. This dilutes the thrill of playing considerably.
Another factor could be Millionaire Casino’s beautiful, colorful, top-quality 3D graphics. The site may have enough bandwidth to send out these gorgeous images, but users may not have big enough “pipes” to receive all that data at once. Such are the trials of online gambling.
Slot tournaments are what Millionaire Casino seems to be all about. From the players’ perspective, the tourneys are worth the effort because they post worthwhile prizes. A top prize of $5,000 was posted for a weekend Blackjack tournament, while lesser contests for slots games also seemed to be popular. Millionaire also offers progressive jackpots in its real money games that totaled more than $2 million last visit.
Millionaire Casino not only accepts both American and International players, it tries to help its players manage their bankrolls wisely. The site features tools for players to set limits on their monthly spending, to opt out of emails featuring promotions and tournaments and even block themselves entirely. Users can send an email to limits@millionairecasino.com for more information.
Website & Software
Millionaire Casino runs on Vegas Technology, but elects to have monthly audits by a third-party gambling expert, Dr. Eliot Jacobson. The Ph.D. mathematician operates Jacobson Gaming where he posts audit reports on Millionaire Casino and other online sites. According to Dr. Jacobson’s audit reports, the wins on Millionaire Casino fall within statistically predictable returns. This means that players have a fair chance at winning according to the Vegas Technology’s random number generator.
Most casino websites work best with an MS-DOS Windows operating system, and Millionaire Casino is no exception. PC users can download casino software offering 100 different games, but Mac users are limited to online play. This means that Mac users are more likely to get frustrated because of Millionaire Casino’s slow operations. Despite what the commercials say, online casinos are one place where being PC is better than being Mac.
Games
Millionaire Casino carries virtually of the most popular games for online play in slots, table games, video poker and specialty games.
Table Games include Keno, Caribbean Stud Poker, Tri-Card Poker, Craps, Red Dog, Let Them Ride, and Roulette, plus three versions of Blackjack.
Slots screens are big and bright with the right game. One of the 5-Reel Bonus Slots, Solomon’s Mines was large, colorful and easy to read. Seniors who enjoy gaming online will especially enjoy these larger screen graphics. Progressive Slots with their huge jackpots also were intriguing. There are four of them on Millionaire Casino: Pay Dirt, Mega Money Mine, Treasure Trail, and Red White and Win.
Big money lives on the 5-Reel Bonus Slots at Millionaire Casino. These include Solomon’s Mines, Cleopatra’s Pyramid, The Right Prize, Daredevil Dave, Independence Day, Supermarket, Safari, Black Magic, Sumo, Fat Cat, X Marks the Spot, Money Slot, the Reel Deal, Wheel of Chance, Mermaids’ Quest, and Princess Jewels, among others. There are also six 3-reel slots, 10 standard 5-reel slots, but only one 7-reel, Lucky 7s.
Video Poker offers only 5 games, but they’re five of the most popular versions. These include Aces and Faces, Deuces and Joker, Deuces Wild, Jack or Better and Tens or Better.
Bonuses and Promotions
We could find only two kinds of promotions on Millionaire Casino: a sign-up bonus and its VIP club.
The sign-up bonus for new players is one of the best: Up to $5,000 matched on the first 3 deposits, broken down into $2,000 max on the first, $1,000 max on the second, and $2,000 max on the third.
The M Club, a VIP Program, handles all the rest Millionaire Casino’s perks. Players are automatically entered into the various bonus levels beginning with sign-up, and they move up automatically as they achieve a new point level. Points earned throughout game play can be redeemed for merchandise, cash and sweepstakes. Points are based on each $10 of play per game and increase with each level. Bonuses also rises with each level. The site provides a table showing point levels for the Amber, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond levels.
Deposit Options
There’s no minimum deposit needed to establish an account. Players can deposit money through Visa/MasterCard Credit Card, MoneyBookers, Click2Pay, BankWire, ECOCard, QuickCash, Neteller, and UseMyWallet. Players also get an account history from Millionaire Casino showing deposits, withdrawals and re-deposits.
Support
Despite its technical issues, Millionaire Casino gives its customers truly golden service.
Any player with questions or problems can access a customer service representative through Live Chat around the clock. In addition players can place telephone calls to customer service between 8 AM and 4 AM EST. North American players and International players have separate toll-free numbers, along with a fax line. Users should have their full names, user names and account numbers handy when contacting customer support in any form.
Particularly impressive is the way Millionaire Casino designed its online customer support form. Users can choose where to direct their emails: Account/Credit Card Information, Payment Inquiries, Technical Support, Business/Marketing Development, or Unsubscribe. It’s surprising to find that last option so obviously displayed on a gaming site.
In addition to the usual contacts for those with gambling problems, Millionaire Casino offers a twist: a financial self-assessment test provided online by the Financial Services Regulatory Commission of Antigua and Barbuda, where the website is registered and regulated.
